Speed to lead: what does a one-hour reply cost you?

The longer a lead waits for a reply, the lower the chance it becomes a customer. A B2B buyer who fills in your form is usually asking your competitors too. The first to respond often wins.

How to calculate what you lose

You need four numbers:

  1. Leads per month.
  2. Share of leads answered too late or not at all.
  3. Your usual lead-to-customer rate.
  4. Average deal value.

Multiply them together and by 12 months. The result is revenue that may be slipping away every year. Try it in our calculator.

What cuts response time

  • Automatic lead assignment to the right person by region, industry or company size.
  • Alerts within minutes via email, Slack or Teams.
  • Data enrichment, so company details fill in automatically and reps do not research by hand.
  • Measurement: time from lead to first contact as a fixed report metric.
